We are in our 9th year to offer the Autism Color Run in North Mississippi. We have had participants from not only the local area but from south Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, and Arkansas as well (that we know of). This makes for a great opportunity for your brand to be seen by our participants.

In our first year, the event was attended by over 1,200 people in our surrounding area. We have continued that success for 8 events now, and as we move into our 9th annual event, we look for it to be bigger and better than ever. The Reconnect 4 Autism Color Run has been featured in many different local newspapers multiple times. Our local radio stations have covered the event. It has been featured in local magazines as well as on all of the screens at 8 Malco Theatres across the area. Our Facebook and Instagram pages have over 4,500 followers, and our event posts have been shared over 500,000 times. We are being picked up by sites such as All Events in City. These all help us to have great traffic and maximize our services and the visibility of our sponsors’ brands. We have had over 1,000 T-shirts each of our 8 years to go out into the community, with our sponsors’ names on them. We post our banner and sponsorship boards at every event so that attendees know whom to thank. This is just the beginning! We are off to a great start, as we have more online interest than ever at this time of the year. The earlier you come on as a sponsor, the more value you can get. According to the level you sponsor and what additional gift you add with it, we can utilize it to reach even more people. In-kind donations are wonderful promotional tools because people love getting freebies for their time. For example, last year, many sponsors gave gift certificates or items to be given away as prizes. So we did several online contests, which drove up awareness and participation. Then we gave those prizes away to those in attendance at the event.
